Watch this: WXII news clip featuring Danyale Berry’s internship at NASA

One of NASA's summer interns will be Winston Salem State volleyball standout, Danielle Berry. This is a cool story in her internship. She's designing a project and working with patients to test ground force relations while walking and how it impacts day to day activities. Wow, Barry says she's the only Winston Salem State student in her internship so whenever she submits a project or a proposal, she always puts the Rams logo right on her work.

I love that I'm able to help get exposure for university as well. Because I'm proud to go there. I'm proud to be Ram and I'm proud to let other people know what Rams can do.

With fall sports canceled at Winston Salem State, Barry will not have a senior volleyball season, at least not in the fall. She says she hopes to continue with her internship with NASA deep into her senior year.
